Dear Mr Peters
I have become aware that the Israeli Military have used over 100 Snipers to shoot Peaceful Palestinian protesters inside Gaza beside the Israeli Separation fence. The protest is part of “The Great Return March” protest
The snipers have been deployed and given orders to shoot to kill Peaceful Palestinian Protesters on the GAZA side of the Separation fence.
By the end of 31st of March, the Israeli forces have killed over 17 civilians and wounded over 1,400 more.
The use of Lethal Force killing and wounding Palestinian Civilians undertaking Peaceful protest is abhorrent.
The use of snipers to kill Peaceful Civilian protesters who offer no danger to the Israeli Soldiers would seem to be a war crime under the 4th Geneva Convention and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
I have seen in video posted on the Internet:
None of these people posed a threat to the Israeli forced located on the other side of the separation fence as claimed by Israel. To claim so is a Lie.
Indeed, the shooting of these people seems to conform with Israel’s “Dahiya Doctrine” which is to attack, kill or injure Palestinian Civilians, or destroy civilians infrastructure, to create what Israel calls a “Deterrence”. A prescription for War Crimes that we often overlook.
My questions are these:
For far too long, we have watched as Israeli Politicians and Military have ordered the carrying out of actions which look as if they are War Crimes. It is time that all decent countries stood up and demand that these extrajudicial Killings and Maiming stop. We can no longer look the other way.

- There will be tent cities set up in five locations along the occupied border in a six-week protest for a right of return of Palestinian refugees to what is now Israel
- This is developed to be a Peaceful Protest
- Israel has deployed over 100 Snipers along the fence
- The Israeli Military has given their snipers orders to use live ammunition if they want to. Even if the Protesters are on the other side of the Separation fence.
- By March 31st, Israeli Snipers have killed over 12 protesters and injured well over 1,000 Palestinian Civilians

- A Palestinian man walking across a field shot by an Israeli Sniper
- A Palestinian woman holding a flag shot by an Israeli Sniper
- A Palestinian man who was at Prayer shot by an Israeli Sniper

- What will our government do to call on Israel to stop the killing of peaceful protesters inside Gaza?
- What will our government do to call for the Israeli Politicians and Military who order these actions to be held accountable under International Law?
- Will the the government Ban the Israeli Politicians and Military who order these actions from our country because they seem to have ordered War Crimes?
